Fnatic Streak 65 LP: One-minute review
Here are the key specs for the Fnatic Streak 65 LP:
Keyboard type: Mechanic
Switches: FNATIC SPEED (low-profile), ultra-fast Kailh Choc V2
Connectivity: Wired, USB-C
Memory: On board
OS Support: Windows 10 and 11. Mac OS, Chrome OS
Compatibility: PC, Laptop, PS4/5, Xbox and Mac
The LP Fnatic Streak 65 has performance at its heart, but it doesn’t sacrifice aesthetics. It is a mechanic keyboard this is discreet and comes with a 65% compact layout, onboard memory, dazzling RGB lighting and custom Fnatic Speed Kailh Choc V2 orange switches, which according to Fnatic are the fastest mechanical switches on the market.
It’s also incredibly affordable. Some of the best gaming keyboards right now are much more expensive and, in some important ways, don’t compare to the Streak 65 LP. We thought the LP could easily cost an extra $20-30 and still be worth it.
Fnatic Streak 65 LP: Price and Availability
- extremely reasonable price
- Available on the Fnatic website and on Amazon
The Fnatic Streak 65 LP is $119.99 (£110.00, about AU$171), which is beyond reasonable when you consider its features – the RGB, the custom Kailh switches, the textured PBT shooting keys double and noise dampening. It is available for purchase on the Fnatic website. It is also available at amazon (opens in new tab) in black and Amazon UK (opens in new tab) where the LP Streak 65 (white (opens in new tab)) is currently on offer at a 5% discount.
The Fnatic Streak 65 LP is very close to reaching the top of the hierarchy. The HyperX Alloy Origins 65 has a 1.8mm actuation point and 3.8mm offset distance, which is slightly behind the LP. However, it has a lifecycle of 80 million keystrokes, 10 million more than LPs.
The Corsair K65 Mini, meanwhile, is the LP’s closest competitor, with a 100 million key lifecycle and down to 0.2mm actuation point, with its Cherry MX Red switches, but it’s a cheeky 60. %, not 65%, and it’s more expensive. And, the very antecedent of the LP, the track 65what was already a pretty decent mechanical keyboard deserves a warm mention, but it pales in comparison.

Fnatic Streak 65 LP: Design
- aluminum metal structure
- sound dampening
- Beautiful RGB lighting
The Fnatic Streak 65 LP mechanical gaming keyboard is amazingly designed. It is available in black and white; we reviewed the white version. At first glance, it looks relatively basic, but on closer inspection, the details are extremely nice. And that’s before you turn it on and see its breathtaking RGB.
It’s a 65% keyboard and therefore much more compact than a full-sized one. And at 420 grams, it’s quite light. There is a removable magnet at the top of the spine. fnatic sign, which can be exchanged, although Fnatic is not selling replacements. There’s a bit of branding: “Fnatic”, again, on the top plate, the Fnatic logo on the spacebar, and STREAK on the side.
On either side of the base are two removable rubber feet, which open to the side and not backwards. At the bottom of the keyboard are the gray rubber grips that are securely attached.
The keys are textured PBT in white with translucent gray lettering. The secondary functions of the keys, accessed by the FN key, are printed on their faces. The keys aren’t full-size, revealing the orange Kailh switches and making the RGB lighting more noticeable. Underneath the keys, screws can be seen, which for some might be a nice accent, but for us, they’re an eyesore.
The detachable cable of the 1.8 meter USB-C cable is not just braided but coiled, which is quite unusual on a modern keyboard and quite nice to look at.
Fnatic Streak 65 LP: Performance
- Lifetime of 70 million keystrokes
- Custom Fnatic Kailh Choc V2 orange switches
- Low profile for less strain on fingers and wrists
The Fnatic Streak 65 LP mechanical gaming keyboard has excellent performance. Its low-profile keys, switches and form factor make wearing comfortable for longer without strain on the wrist.
The keys, being double-shot PBT, won’t wear out anytime soon. They are comfortable to wear and, thanks to the extra foam at the base of the keyboard, make very little noise. The sound you hear is a dull thud, rather than a heavy, hollow sound that runs across the board like many gaming keyboards we’ve tested.
The Streak 65 LP has a polling rate of 1000Hz and 8MB of on-board memory. The switches used are Fnatic’s orange Speed Kailh Choc V2 switches; are linear and have a 1.1mm switch actuation and 3.2mm shift distance, even shorter than the Cherry MX Red, considered one of the best gaming keyboard switches.
Travel distance makes switches super quick to respond. The keys feel very stable and solid. They barely wobble and the pre-lubricated stabilizers make them a gamer’s dream. And a gamer’s dream is a typist’s dream: the keyboard offers a smooth typing experience.
Playing high speed games, you can really see the Track 65 LP bloom. FPS like Valorant and destination 2 are satisfying to play. The keyboard feels accurate and responsive, and we’ve found that the more intense the game, the more you can really appreciate the keyboard’s build quality.
Then there’s the breathtaking lighting, which rivals the equally breathtaking RGB lighting of the HyperX Alloy Origins 65. The LP can display 16.8 million colors, which are fully customizable in Fnatic’s OP software ( we meant that his name is actually “OP”, not that it is mastered). This software allows you to manage the color, frequency and even direction of lighting. There are eight patterns to choose from, including “rain”, “wave” and “reactive”.
The OP also lets you define macros and remap keys. The program isn’t as powerful as Roccat’s Swarm software, but it’s definitely not weak.
Many keys have secondary functions, which can be accessed with the FN key. FN+c toggles a very Fnatic mode, the competition mode. This dims the lighting and disables the Windows key.
There are four programmable keys along the right side of the keyboard. Finally, there’s 8GB of built-in memory to save your settings.
Should I buy the Fnatic Streak 65 LP?
Don’t buy if…
